Katie Holmes 'hoping to unveil Jamie Foxx romance'

The pair have been linked for some time now, first setting tongues wagging in 2013, but neither have confirmed reports regarding relationship rumours. They've been spotted out together on many occasions though and it's thought the 37-year-old actress, who has 10-year-old daughter Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise, is hoping they'll unveil their romance soon.

"She's ready to go public and show the world how in love they are," an insider told Britain's Closer magazine. "She wants him by her side at red carpet events."

Katie triggered engagement rumours back in January, 2016 when showing off a ring on her wedding finger, though Jamie's rep confirmed they weren't set to walk down the aisle.

Reality TV star pal confirms Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are dating

Only last week reality star, and close friend of the Oscar-winning actor, Claudia Jordan appeared to confirm the two stars were dating, despite going back on her comments just a day later. But according to the insider, this slip of the tongue could be a way for Katie and Jamie to finally admit the claims that they're together.

"Katie's secretly relieved that it's come out as she's tired of hiding her relationship with Jamie and not being able to act like a normal couple," the source noted.

Katie opened up about her future plans during an interview with More magazine at the beginning of the year, nearly four years on from when she and Tom officially divorced in July 2012. She told the publication that she's striving to focus on the positive aspects of life and fulfil her creative side with work for the time being.

"I feel ready (for a change)," she said. "When I was a young actor, things happened quickly. My second job was Dawson’s Creek, and suddenly I was known. I was 18 years old; I had no life experience. I felt, ‘I don’t have anything to bring. I don’t know what it’s like to be, say, really angry. I’m doing the best I can.’ But with age I’ve gained confidence."
