Katy Perry reportedly enjoyed fire dancers at her birthday bash in Morocco. The Teenage Dream singer turned 30 years old on October 25 and she celebrated her new age by flying in loads of friends to Marrakesh before transporting her loved ones to Paris, France. And it’s claimed Katy’s Moroccan festivities were out of this world.
'They turned the place into a dance party'
“There were several fire dancers, knife and sword performers, and every night at dinner there were belly dancers,” a source told Us Weekly magazine. “They came back the second night and had a dinner with lots of amazing belly dance routines and then turned the place into a dance party.”
Katy’s rumoured ex-boyfriend, DJ-and-music producer Diplo, was part of her birthday entourage.
Apparently when they arrived in France, it appeared as if they had reignited their romance.
“When they got off the plane [in Paris], Diplo was carrying Katy's pillow for her and they stopped to pose for pictures together on the tarmac,” an alleged eyewitness detailed. “They had their arms around each other, and she was resting her head on his shoulder. They both seemed tired after the weekend in Morocco.”
Katy has had a number of her most prized birthday wishes come true this year.
On October 19, the songstress took to Twitter to make a special request from a specific pizza chain store, writing to her over 58 million followers: “All I want for my birthday is my name on the Shakey's Pizza marquee on Santa Monica Blvd. Please”.
The next day, Katy revealed her wish was fulfilled by one of her best friends, Sophia Rossi.
