We’re so glad singer Kelly Khumalo came to her senses and handed herself over to police yesterday. The singer, who is no stranger to controversy, was charged with assault by Mandisa Meyiwa, wife of soccer star Senzo, who Kelly is rumoured to be having an affair with.
The songbird and her sister allegedly attacked Mandisa when they spotted her driving around a few months ago. Yesterday after a late dinner with friends, she and her sister were arrested at Hillbrow police station in Johannesburg and appeared in the Hillbrow Magsitrate’s Court this morning. One of the last tweets Kelly posted last night was, “God will do what he said he will stand by his word, no weapon formed against me shall prosper, it won't work!”.

Twitter was abuzz after Kelly’s court appearance. One of her followers @raitlhwane tweeted, “Alicia Keys needs to remind Kelly Khumalo that assaulting the wife is not part of the Mistress Manual."
