Reality star Khloé first started dating rapper French in February this year. And after a brief split, the pair rekindled their relationship last month. However, the couple are now alleged to have ended their romance once and for all.

'She respects and cares for him but just wasn't ready'

According to reports, it was the lasting effects of Khloé’s split and impending divorce from Lamar Odom that caused her to re-evaluate her relationship with French.

"Khloé just wasn't ready after Lamar [Odom] and it was getting too serious," a source told Us Weekly. "She respects and cares for him but just wasn't ready."

It is understood that Khloé and French are still on good terms after their split.

The first time the pair ended their romance, they again remained amicable.

Khloé then fuelled rumours that the pair were giving things another go by posting a touching birthday message for French on her Instagram page last month.

"In only a short amount of time we have created timeless memories," she wrote next to a picture with French. “Happy birthday to a man who genuinely lives life to its fullest. What's understood doesn't need to be explained @frenchmontana I can't wait to celebrate life with you tonight! You deserve it!!”

Khloé and French’s relationship is currently being played out on Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons, filmed last summer.

However, in a recent episode of the reality spin-off, Khloé was seen telling mother Kris Jenner that turning 30 had caused her to think about the journey her life has taken.

As the pair’s discussion turned explosive, Khloé shouted at Kris: “If I had it my way I’d still be married to Lamar.”

Khloé married basketball player Lamar in September 2009 just one month after they met. However, Khloé filed for divorce from Lamar in December 2013.
