At least he stands up for his girl! Kanye West’s rant during his now infamous interview on US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! about girlfriend Kim Kardashian deserving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has drawn a response from a spokesperson for the walk who’s said it’s not going to happen for the reality TV star.
“We don’t have reality stars on the walk of fame,” Ana Martinez said. “We don't have a category for it. We’re happy to consider reality stars once they’re nominated for, or win, an Emmy, Grammy or an Oscar. We’ll consider them when they're legitimate actors or singers.”
During the interview the outspoken rapper went so far as to brand the walk “dated” for not allowing the mother of his child to be honoured. But according to Martinez, Kim just doesn’t cut it. “I hate to say it, but a lot of people just don’t like her,” she said of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. “No one’s ever nominated her.” Sorry, Kanye.
