Kim Kardashian doesn't want to re-emerge in public until she weighs 115 lb (52 kg).
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star hasn't been seen since she gave birth to her first child, daughter North, on 15 June and is desperately trying to regain her pre-pregnancy figure before she steps back into the spotlight.
A source close to the 32-year-old brunette beauty, who was forced to defend her figure while pregnant after allegedly gaining 60 lb (27 kg), told Us Weekly magazine she’s still in hiding because she’s "extremely self-conscious about her current body”.
"[Kim] said when she comes out and gets photographed for the first time she wants to look hot, hot, hot."
The reality TV star, who’s said to be using her time out of the public eye to plan her wedding with boyfriend Kanye West, has already lost 30 pounds (13,5 kg) with the help of her personal trainer, Tracy Anderson.
But the insider said, "The weight is not coming off as quickly . . . she plateaued . . . this is the hard part now.
"Kanye has been supportive and there for her, but this is more about Kim being inside her head and obsessed. She's always complaining about her size. She says she hates the way she looks and won't go out again until she is skinnier."
It was previously reported Kim is planning to make her debut appearance since giving birth at Paris Fashion Week, which kicks off on 24 September.
The insider added, "She thinks it will take at least another month to get to where she wants to be. Only when she's there will she start thinking about showing her body to the world."
