Kim Kardashian and Kanye West ‘at a crossroads following his hospitalisation’

The showbiz couple are known for their rock solid relationship, but sources say their love has been pushed to its limits over the last few months.

Rapper Kanye, 39, was recently hospitalised for exhaustion after cancelling dates on his Saint Pablo Tour. The hospital stay came not long after 36-year-old Kim was subjected to a violent robbery while she was staying in Paris for Fashion Week, and a source says the pair is now at a “crossroads”.

“Kim has been beside herself, and Kanye’s release (from hospital) hasn’t eased her anxiety,” the insider added to Grazia magazine. “His breakdown was a wake-up call and she’s concerned that he could relapse. During his hospital stay, Kanye displayed some troubling behaviour, and although Kim was an almost constant presence by his bedside, she decided against bringing their children North, three, and 12-month-old Saint to visit. She wants to wait until he has the all-clear before leaving him alone with the kids.”

Kanye was released from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center last week (30Nov16), after spending nine days in the hospital.

Kim is said to be living with her mother Kris Jenner while Kanye recuperates at home.

“The last few months have taken a huge emotional toll, and Kim and Kanye were having furious rows in the lead-up to his breakdown,” the source said. “Now, it seems that the marriage is hanging in the balance. Kim was still recovering from her own attack when all hell broke loose with Kanye, and she’s honestly not sure that she’s strong enough to carry them both through the next few weeks.”
