Kris Jenner's playing hard to get!

The 58-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians matriarch is playing her cards close to her chest following her split from her husband Bruce Jenner late last year.

She was photographed with a mystery man on October 14, but has insisting the outing was innocent.

“I was not holding hands with anybody,” Kris protested in an interview with Extra.

Kris had been questioned by the show’s host AJ Calloway about a set of photos that appeared to show her out on a date. In the images, posted on Radar Online, the brunette beauty is seen sharing a booth and chatting with a handsome man at a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles.

“I'm playing hard to get,” Kris assured the host. “It's my new philosophy.”

The reality star announced her separation from Bruce in October 2013 and has since been enjoying the single life. According to a witness who saw Kris dining with her male companion, they were getting quite close.

“Kris was playing with his bracelet, acting very flirtatious. She kept laughing,” the fellow diner told Radar. “They were holding hands.”

Meanwhile, Kris has been facing media questions about Bruce allegedly being back on the dating scene. She has repeatedly maintained that she is not bothered that he is seemingly moving on following claim he is dating her friend Ronda Kamihira.

“I know I’m in a really good place. And I hope he is too. I hope he’s doing his thing and having a good time," Kris told American radio station KIIS FM on Tuesday.

Rumours that her estranged husband is undergoing gender reassignment have also been fired at her. However, Kris has kept her responses diplomatic.

“I have no idea what Bruce does in his personal time,” she continued to host Ryan Seacrest.
