Lady Gaga doesn't care about her figure.
The singer, who’s been showing off a slimmer frame recently, claims she only stays in shape because she’s afraid speculation about her weight could overshadow her music.
The 27-year-old singer told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM show, "Well, you know, I had to get back in shape, but to be fair I have never cared about my weight . . . It's other people that care. I do fear at times that if I'm not in shape, people will talk about that and not my music."
The Bad Romance hitmaker previously admitted she’s had eating disorders since she was 15.
After gaining 25 lb (11 kg) last year, she posted a picture of herself in her underwear on her website littlemonsters.com, with a caption revealing she’s had body issues since she was a teenager.
She wrote, "Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15."
Lady Gaga also revealed her father's restaurant in New York was the reason for her curvier figure.
She said, "I love eating pasta and I'm a New York Italian girl. That's why I have been staying out of New York.
"My father opened a restaurant. It's so amazing . . . It's so freaking delicious, but I'm telling you I gain five pounds (2 kg) every time I go there. So my dad wants me to eat at the restaurant, and I'm, like, 'I've got to go where I can drink green juice'."
