The pop star recently collaborated with the jazz legend on new album Cheek to Cheek, and has credited Tony with reinvigorating her love of music. And on Wednesday the singer couldn't help but gush after spending time with her dear friend. "Love a day with Tony," she wrote on Facebook. "I always leave smiling, or ya know. Working it."

The 28-year-old Born This Way singer has spoken about her deep bond with the 88-year-old performer in the past.
Last month she explained Tony has changed her approach to performing, something she had lost passion for in the months prior to their meeting.
"He's the reason that I'm here today, that I'm still making music, that I'm still excited to make music,” she insisted to E! News.
"Even singing with Tony now, going back on tour, it has completely changed the way I am on stage. It actually revived something in me that I haven't felt in a few years. It's a certain resilience, a certain confidence,” she said.
Tony shares similar affection for the pop star, crediting her in the past with connecting with audiences unlike any other performer.
“Nobody has communicated with the public more than Lady Gaga. Ever,” he told Parade magazine earlier this year. “I trust the audience, and I’m very impressed. As far as they’re concerned, she’s part of their family.”
The pair are scheduled to share the stage on New Year’s Eve at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
