If you thought working out was boring or just one big schlep, then maybe you haven't heard of LexTwerkOut. The latest fitness craze will have you shaking what your mama gave ya -- and working up one big sweat while you're at it.
The woman behind it is Lexy Panterra, who made waves with her impressive twerking skills in the DJ Snake featuring Bipolar Sunshine video for Middle. But Lexy's actually been at it for years. Not a fan of run-of-the-mill workouts, Lexy has always loved to dance and realised that repeatedly moving her hips and squatting (i.e. twerking) was actually a great workout. She came up with LexTwerkOut to help people stay in shape in 2014.
The talented twerker gives classes on a weekly basis across the US and even does private parties for ladies. By the looks of the LexTwerkOut Instagram page, which has over 500 000 followers, she seems to have come up with a hit.
According to the svelte dancer, the workouts are designed "not only help you reach the physical results you've been hoping for, but also gives you a boost of confidence where you may end up redefining the word 'sexy'."
"It's is all about comfort and having a good time, when you come and work out with me you will feel as if you were home dancing with your girls!" she gushes.
If you're keen to give the innovative fitness plan a bash, there's an app for it. You can download it here.
