Local celebs' portraits sold for charity

accreditation

The Glamour Aid Charity and Art Auction took place at The Bay hotel in Camps Bay on Saturday evening. The star-studded event raised R595 000 for the Make A Difference (MAD) Charity and The Chaeli Campaign. Prominent celebrities were painted by South African artists. Their interpretation of celebrities like Thuli Sitholi, Nelson Mandela, Tarina Patel, Arno Carstens and more were auctioned off at the glamorous event which was hosted by Cindy Nell-Roberts and Mark Bayly.

Arno Carstens provides a show-stopping performance with Mike Rutherford from Mike and The Mechanics.

Tarina Patel looked amazing in Jenni Button couture. The artistic interpretation of her beauty sold at a whopping R85 000. On the painting, Tarina exclaimed, “Love, love love!”

Arno Carstens looked as fly as ever and brought the room to a standstill with his live performance.

Battle of the beauties! Tammy Ann Fortuin and Natalie Becker stand side by side. The ladies sure know how to bring it!

Arno Carstens looks a bit camera-shy as he enjoys one of the most glamorous events this year!

Arno, Heather Waters and Kyle Solms are all camera-ready as they enjoy a night of fund-raising, glam and entertainment at The Bay hotel in Camps Bay.
