The local comedian and presenter Loyiso Gola will be representing South Africa at the 42^nd Emmy Award in New York next Monday. “7 days to go before the International Emmy awards. Wish us luck,” Loyiso wrote on Twitter.

This will be the second time the e.tv show, Late Night News, will be nominated for a award in the Comedy category.

They will be up against Brazil's The Mayor's Wife, Australia's Please like Me and Belguim's Wat als 2? (What if? Season 2).

We wish them the best of luck. Hopefully this time they will bring back the award!

*The Emmy Awards will take place at the Gala in New York on the 24 November.
