Mama June's sex offender boyfriend reportedly raped her 8-year-old daughter Anna Cardwell, while her other daughter, 3-year-old Lauryn, was in the bedroom.
'Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did?'
According to a "very graphic and disturbing" police report obtained by US Weekly, McDaniel (53) raped and molested Anna (now 20) in June 2002, and forced Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, now 17, to watch.
“Anna…stated that her sister, Lauryn, is in the bed with them when this is going on,” the policeman wrote in the incident report.
At the time, Anna told the police she had done the "s" word with McDaniel and he touched "her private parts". She also said he had urinated on her. McDaniel said if Anna told anyone what he had done, he wouldn't "like her anymore." He repeatedly abused Anna for at least six months in 2002. After news broke that Mama June was reportedly dating the man who had raped her daughter again, Anna -- known on the TLC reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo as "Chickadee" -- spoke out about her ordeal in an emotional interview with Entertainment Tonight. "It's Mama's fault! She has to live with it. She brung the past back," she said. "He's a child molester, Mama. He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did?"
At the time, McDaniel was charged with rape, child molestation, aggravated child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and aggravated sexual battery.
Court documents state McDaniel played "videos depicting sexual acts for Anna Marie Shannon,” “ejaculat[ed] on the person of Anna Marie Shannon,” and placed “the sex organs of the accused” into her mouth.
He was sentenced to ten years in jail and was released in March this year.
Recent photos have emerged of Mama June and McDaniel together and they're rumoured to have gone house shopping together. However, Lauryn has told media that they are not even in contact.
“The story is not true. My mom left Mark 10 years ago,” Lauryn said earlier this month. “They haven’t seen nor talked [to each other] in 10 years.”
