A US couple were horrified when a man hacked into their baby monitor and began shouting obscenities at their daughter.
Marc Gilbert was shocked when he heard a strange voice calling his two-year-old girl, Alysson, an "effing moron" and hurtling other verbal abuse at her.
Marc told ABC News, "At that point I ran over and disconnected it and tried to figure out what happened.
"[I] couldn't see the guy. All you could do was hear his voice and [that] he was controlling the camera."
The youngster, who’s deaf, wasn't woken up by the hacker’s horrifying comments, and Marc is now concerned this has happened on more than one occasion.
