Rumours had been swirling about the nature of the 46-year-old singer's relationship with Bryan, 33, since she and James ended their engagement in September, 2016 after a fight while on vacation in Greece. The new romance comes just weeks after Mariah and James called time on their romance. In an interview shortly after the break-up, Mariah admitted she was doing her best to move on - even when faced with watching footage of her trying on a wedding dress on her upcoming reality show, Mariah's World.

"All of those moments are bittersweet," Mariah shared with Entertainment Tonight, as she recalled watching scenes where she is planning her ill-fated nuptials. "But you just have to focus on whatever you're focusing on and keep it moving."
