Mariah Carey is 'focused' on moving on from James Packer

The superstar became engaged to the Australian billionaire in January, 2016 but the couple split in September, 2016 following a fight while on vacation in Greece.

Despite the breakup, the Hero hitmaker is focusing on moving on from her ex-fiance, even when faced with watching footage of her trying on a wedding dress on her upcoming reality show, Mariah's World.

"All of those moments are bittersweet," Mariah shared with Entertainment Tonight, as she recalled watching scenes where she is planning her ill-fated nuptials. "But you just have to focus on whatever you're focusing on and keep it moving."

She went on to explain that her new show will reveal a side of show business that's rarely seen by the public.

"The stories (are) interesting because it shows the side of the entertainment world that's not just the celebrity (aspect)," the mother-of-two said.

"It's real (and) I don't feel like it feels like a scripted kind of reality (show) whatsoever," Mariah added.

It was recently reported that James had demanded E!, the network behind the show, remove all footage of him before it airs. However, a source close to the Australian disputed the claims, telling Entertainment Tonight, "The show hasn't even finished shooting. He has not asked to be taken out. It is totally false."

Mariah's World will premiere in the U.S. on 4 December, 2016  on E! Entertainment Television.
