Miley Cyrus doesn't "have time" to get married.
The Wrecking Ball singer is said have called off her engagement to Liam Hemsworth after months of alleged arguments over her new image and provocative behaviour, including grinding against Robin Thicke on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards.
In a recent interview, published just as it had emerged she’d unfollowed The Hunger Games hunk on Twitter, Miley revealed she has no plans to get hitched in the immediate future.
She told Harper's Bazaar magazine, "I definitely don't have time to deal with a wedding right now. But I will at some point."
The twerk-mad star ? who shot to fame on the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana ? believes her recent X-rated antics are justified since she was never allowed to act her age while she was growing up in the spotlight.
Miley reasoned, "I was an adult when I was supposed to be a kid. So now I'm an adult and I'm acting like a kid."
The 20-year-old singer also offered her pearls of wisdom about former child star Lindsay Lohan, who’s been in and out of rehab facilities in recent years, claiming the troubled actress will never be able to cut toxic people out of her life.
She scoffed, "I'm, like, 'Honey, you're going to have to move out of this universe because everywhere you go there are toxic people’."
Miley also believes fellow young stars such as Justin Bieber need to keep up their headline-grabbing antics.
She laughed, "I'm not saying you need to take a break because you're crazy. I'm saying you need to take a break so you can be crazy."
