Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez of the Dominican Republic and Indonesia’s Natasha Mannuela were crowned first and second princess respectively.

The brunette beauty, who is studying communication science and law at a university in New York, is fluent in Spanish, French, and English - and is also a talented musician. Stephanie’s pink dress was a reminder of the soft pink design which South African Rolene Strauss sported when she took the title in 2014.

Rolene recently celebrated her reign by posting a picture on Instagram accompanied by a heartfelt caption. Exactly two years ago I walked this stage, no longer as Miss South Africa, but as the reigning Miss World. I sometimes wonder why all of these blessings come my way and feel guilty at times. South Africa’s Ntando Kunene (24) unfortunately didn’t reach the final rounds but looked breath-taking nonetheless.

Ntando grew up in Mkhondo close to Piet Retief and took her parents along to the pageant.

Her parents, Christopher and Baby, previously told YOU how proud they are of their daughter.

“I can’t even express how proud I am and how I feel right now. And as her parents we’ll do all we can to support her and adjust to what life brings her,” said Christopher.
