Johan Kotzé and his three co-accused have been found guilty of the kidnap and gang rape of Kotzé’s estranged wife, Ina Bonnette.

Johan Kotzé, the so-called Modimolle Monster, and his three co-accused were this afternoon found guilty in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria of the kidnap and gang rape of his estranged wife, Ina Bonnette.

Judge Bert Bam also found Kotzé and his co-accused Andries Sithole guilty of the murder of Ina’s son, Conrad (19).

Appearing in the sensational trial, Kotzé, Sithole, Pieta Mohlake and Sello Mphaka had been charged with Ina’s gang rape, abduction and attempted murder. Kotzé’s stepson Conrad was murdered at his house in Modimolle, Limpopo, during the horrifying event.

In court Ina testified Kotzé’s three co-accused had stood by and watched while he’d sexually abused her and mutilated her breasts before they took turns to rape her.
