Modimolle victim relives her ordeal

When Ina Bonnette (42) looks at her disfigured body in the mirror she sees its various parts as if they were chairs and tables. Johan Kotzé destroyed her humanity and now her body feels dead too.

Heavy rain veils the exclusive resort in the mountains of Limpopo where she and her daughter, Angelique (16), have come in search of peace after the storm of violence unleashed on them.

“I want to tell him he took many things away from me but that he won’t break me. Ina Bonnette is tough.”
