Sandra Oh risked the wrath of Grey's Anatomy fans as she confirmed she would not be returning to the medical drama series.

The 45-year-old left the show in 2014 after nearly a decade of playing outspoken doctor Cristina Yang, and rumours she would be returning to the fictional Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital have swirled since her emotional departure.

However, Sandra scolded those who were responsible for suggesting she would be reprising her much-loved character.
