"Mechanics at a Pinetown business narrowly escaped injuries when a naked driver hurtled into their premises and crashed into a high lift jack and another vehicle before coming to rest," Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said in a statement.

He said no one sustained injuries during the crash. The naked driver was taken away by police.

KwaZulu-Natal police could not be immediately reached to provide further details.
