Natalie Dormer is happy with her current "tufty" hair.
The 32-year-old actress has joined The Hunger Games franchise as Cressida, and will be appearing in the final Mockingjay flicks. She had a drastic makeover for the role, shaving off part of her long hair, but has got used to the look.
'When they offered me the role they asked me if I would consider shaving my entire head'
"Now it's a little more tufty, I'm thinking about keeping it. When I went to Comic Con, so many of the girls - if they weren't sporting the undercut - had the pretend undercut by plaiting it on one side really tight," she told British magazine Glamour.
Initially Natalie thought she was going to have an even bigger hair change. She and the movies' director had a big chat about the look she should go for and she is proud of the finished result.
"When they offered me the role they asked me if I would consider shaving my entire head. Ultimately, the director, Francis Lawrence, and I decided Cressida would look funkier, more Capitol, which is where she comes from, if she rocked the half-shaved head look instead. So I got away lightly. But in the winter, it was b****y cold," she laughed.
The actress is well known for appearing in Game of Thrones too, and enjoyed the opportunity to mix things up with The Hunger Games role. Not least because it was fun to wear so many diverse costumes during filming.
"Six months ago I was adorned in silk, sitting on the Croatian coast playing a queen, and two months later, I'm in combat gear with half a shaved head, in the middle of some incredible shooting lot in Atlanta, running around carrying a semi-automatic rifle. My job rocks," she said.
