The actress and her husband Keith Urban have little girls Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret and she also has adopted son and daughter Connor and Isabella with her ex Tom Cruise.
I've been forced back into fashion through my children
Since welcoming her youngest, she's had to make some changes to her wardrobe.
"With two little girls who are really into fashion themselves - but their kind of fashion - I have to lift my game again," she admitted to British Hello! Fashion magazine.
"Cause they'll come out and they'll go, 'Mh, mh, not good enough.' And so I've been forced back into fashion through my children and rediscovered it."
Sunday and Faith may only be six and three respectively, but their fashion sense is already bleeding into their everyday lives. In fact, they have the final say when it comes to getting dressed in the mornings.
"I wish I could say I choose, but I actually give them an enormous amount of power in the way they dress," she said.
"I don't put any of my own sensibility onto them with that, so they come down every morning and they've dressed themselves."
The Moulin Rouge! star turned 47 earlier this year but still looks completely flawless. While she's the marvel of women around the world, Nicole doesn't see it that way.
"I feel like I am ageing. I find the travel a lot harder now as I get older," she sighed. "I don't sleep as well as I used to. It's those sorts of things."
