Nicole Scherzinger: I'm keeping mum on marriage!

accreditation

Nicole Scherzinger always feels misconstrued when she talks about marriage. The former Pussycat Dolls star has been dating Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton for years, although the relationship has been on/off. After a period apart they confirmed they were back together earlier this year and are constantly battling wedding speculation. For that reason the 36-year-old star isn't too interested in discussing when she'll make it down the aisle.

'I will have a family, but in the right time'

"Our biggest challenge is long distance, but I feel like I'm mostly here in the UK, even though my home is in the US. I feel that whenever I talk marriage or family, it always comes out as something else. I come from a big family and I'm a family person and one day, when God wills it, I will have a family, but in the right time," she told British magazine Hello!

Nicole has been open about her battle with bulimia, with many of the songs on her latest album Big Fat Lie about her struggle with the disease. She's now dealt with it, explaining that learning to talk about her problems was one of the big turning points for her. Alongside that, she's decided to live for the present day.

"The future? I'm trying to live in the now. My head's always in the future, I'm taking it one day at a time. It's like [spiritual teacher] Eckhart Tolle always says, it's the power of now. No one knows the future yet, but if I were to look into the future, I'm excited," she said.

"I'm in a positive head space right now. We can create our future, we have that choice. We don't have control over everything, but we can create our own future."
