Paris Jackson reportedly screamed, "I wish my daddy was here" before her attempted suicide bid.
The 15-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson allegedly cut her wrists and took an overdose of pills this week, following a blazing family row in which she complained she wanted to "live my own life" after being told she couldn't attend a Marilyn Manson gig.
An insider said, "Paris feels that no one in her family 'gets' her any more and she feels isolated and alone.
"During the row on Tuesday night she said her father knew her better than anyone and knew what it was like growing up in the spotlight."
It’s speculated Paris' actions were a "cry for help" after she was reportedly bullied at school, and she was due to testify at the Jackson family's $40 million (R400 million) legal battle against gig promoter AEG, whom they blame for the King of Pop's death in 2009.
A source added to The Sun newspaper, "Paris has been going through hell. We don't think she wanted to take her life ? we feel it was a cry for help."
The teenager is currently at UCLA hospital, where she’s under 24-hour watch, and was visited by her mother, Debbie Rowe, and aunt La Toya Jackson yesterday.
Following reports Paris had a row over not being able to attend Manson's gig, the singer reached out to her yesterday.
He said, "I hope you feel better. You will be on my guest list anytime you want."
