The Fast and the Furious star passed away in a car accident on November 30, 2013 at the age of 40, leaving behind his teenage daughter, parents, two sisters and two brothers.
'She's doing—I hear from the grapevine—very good in school'
And according to the late actor’s father Paul Sr., Meadow is doing well a year after her dad’s death. "She's doing—I hear from the grapevine—very good in school. She's keeping busy,” the patriarch told E! News. "I think she's just a little bit shy around me, grandpa. I think time is on my side and things will get better." Over the weekend, Meadow made a touching tribute to her father via social media.
The 16-year-old posted an image of him holding her in his arms when she was just an infant, writing “I love you” in the accompanying Instagram caption.
Paul Sr. certainly misses his son as well.
He believes the Brick Mansions star was an incredible human being.
"Paul just radiated love and you can't fake that," Paul Sr. shared. "Paul had a really good heart. I thought, 'How did I deserve such a wonderful son?'"
Paul was on a break from filming the latest instalment of Fast & Furious at the time of his death.
Furious 7, which will feature the actor, is scheduled for release next April.
Many of his Fast & Furious co-stars, including Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Vin Diesel, also expressed their love for Paul in honour of the one-year anniversary of his passing over the weekend.
