People are actually DRILLING holes into their iPhone 7 to reveal a 'secret headphone jack'

accreditation

You'd think people would know better than to drill a hole into a new (and expensive) phone, right?

Not exactly.

Because the new iPhone has no headphone jack, YouTube prankster TechRax decided to make a video that promises to solve this frustrating feature (or lack thereof).

In the video, which has gone viral with over 13 million views, the YouTuber is seen drilling (yes, that's right) a hole into a brand new iPhone.

Afterwards, he inserts headphones into the 'new' headphone jack and successfully plays some music.

Obviously fake, right?

"i am from poland help i did that but i destroyed my iphone. did i do something wrong??????" commented YouTuber ?Roberto Massironi.

"I drilled it in but for some reason my phone won’t turn on or charge, is there a software or app I need to install?" commented another Youtuber.

At least some people have found the humour in the whole situation.

"Fake!! I tried to drill a hole on my Nokia 1100 and now i broke my drill. :(?", commented one user.

"You have trolled the whole world. You are a genious,?"commented another.

This really goes without saying, but please don't drill a hole into your new iPhone 7, there is no secret headphone jack.
