Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards are "going with the flow" when it comes to their wedding. The One Direction star proposed to his Little Mix girlfriend last year and they announced the happy news in August when Perrie sported a massive sparkler on her ring finger. While rumours of a lavish wedding started to fly immediately, things have now calmed down and they don't seem to be planning a ceremony any time soon. Now Perrie, 21, has casually dismissed gossip about the state of their relationship.
'We're just going with the flow, we're just happy to be engaged and enjoying it'
"We have no idea [when]," she said to Digital Spy when asked when they would tie the knot. "We're just going with the flow, we're just happy to be engaged and enjoying it.
"And yeah, we'll get there eventually when we're not too busy to make it perfect."
Zayn, also 21, has had a tough time recently, after missing some of One Direction's promotional duties due to poor health. It was even suggested he could be struggling with drug addiction, but he vehemently denied the allegations.
It doesn't help that both stars have a busy schedule - One Direction are promoting new album Four and gearing up for their On the Road Again Tour next year, while Little Mix are busy writing their third record.
For now, wedding plans are on the backburner.
“There’s been all this talk of a wedding, Perrie wanted a big Disney-themed day, but the reality is they’ve had to put it back. There isn’t the time to plan a day that will be perfect for the two of them," a source recently divulged according to British newspaper The Mirror.
