Rihanna: I hate partying

Rihanna says she "hates partying".

The Diamonds hitmaker has a reputation for hopping from club to club on a nightly basis, however the pop star claims she’s become tired of the party lifestyle.

In an interview on talk show Alan Carr: Chatty Man, she said, "I'm such a bootleg rock star. I do nothing, literally. I'm embarrassed to say that actually.

"I've become a square; I hate partying. I don't know if it's because it's the same music every night . . . I don't know. Maybe we need some more DJs."

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old star is expected to receive nearly £1 million (R16 million) in damages after winning her lawsuit against British high-street chain Topshop.

Rihanna sued parent company the Arcadia Group after a T-shirt bearing her likeness was sold in stores without her consent.

In the latest hearing in the trial, the judge determined it was "right and fair" to grant the singer a permanent injunction against further production of the T-shirt.

Rihanna's lawyers estimated damages of £919 000 (R14,7 million), which the judge admitted he found "startling", but ordered £200 000 (R3,2 million) of the fine to be paid within 14 days.

The court ruled the unofficial T-shirt would damage the singer’s business endeavours ? including her fashion line with rival high-street brand River Island ? and reputation as a "style icon".
