Local celebrities and sports stars have flooded social media with tributes for the late Bafana captain, Senzo Meyiwa, who was gunned down trying to protect his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo last night.
The hashtag #SenzoMeyiwa is currently trending on Twitter in SA.
The 27-year-old goalie was shot dead on Sunday evening in Vosloorus and declared dead on the scene, according to police.
Senzo and Kelly have a seven-month-old baby girl, Thingo. Judging from their Instagram pictures, the couple were very much in love. Senzo also leaves behind his estranged wife, Mandisa, their child and his parents.
