Robin Williams has left his R561 million ($50 million) estate to his children, it has been reported. The actor’s body was discovered in his Tiburon, California home on August 11. He was 63. Now a copy of his will, dated January 31 2011, has been obtained by website MailOnline.
'I direct the Executor of this Will and the Trustee of the Trust...to fulfill my obligations under that certain prenuptial agreement with Susan dated September 28, 2011'
According to the website, the document, filed in Marin County, California last week, leaves Robin’s fortune to his three children, Zachary, 31, Zelda, 25, and Cody, 22, as part of the Robin Williams Trust.
In addition, the will is said to detail that Robin’s wife Susan Schneider will be cared for under the terms of a pre-nuptial agreement they signed before they married in 2011.
Susan is currently living at the house she formerly shared with her husband in Tiburon, California. However, it is unclear whether or not she will continue to reside in the R78 million ($7 million) property or sell it and retain the proceeds.
MailOnline reveals Robin’s will states: “I intend by this will to dispose of all property wherever situated that I am entitled to dispose of by will.
“I direct the Executor of this Will and the Trustee of the Trust...to fulfill my obligations under that certain prenuptial agreement with Susan dated September 28, 2011.”
News of the will comes after Robin’s death was officially ruled a suicide by the Marin County coroner.
According to a report issued on Friday to CNN, alcohol and illegal drugs were not involved, although there were “therapeutic concentrations” of prescription drugs found in the actor’s system.
Marin County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Keith Boyd confirmed reports in August the actor had been recently treated for depression.
