The suspect was arrested at the scene after the student’s body was found outside one of the universities residencies.

It’s suspected that the university will release more information soon.

Meanwhile, Wilna de Ruyter, a university spokesperson, confirmed to Eyewitness News that the institution is saddened by the news of the student’s death.
