Rosario Dawson has reportedly adopted a preteen. The 35-year-old Sin City actress is said to have made the huge family decision in secret. According to Page Six, Rosario took custody of a 12-year-old orphan girl in October.

The A-lister, who is currently a single woman, has spoken before of her desire to become a mother.
“That idea has stayed in the back of my head, but lately, I’ve been thinking about it more,” she told Latina magazine previously.
“My mother and grandmother are extraordinary women, and they’re getting older. It struck me recently that one day I might be sitting around with my children, going, ‘Your grandma was an amazing woman; I really wish you could’ve known her.’ .?.?. Whatever time I have, I want it.”
Rosario’s mother Isabelle gave birth to her at the age of 16 and did not marry the star’s biological father, Patrick Harris. Instead, Isabelle tied the knot with Greg Dawson when Rosario was a one-year-old baby, and Greg raised her like one of his own children.
And although the actress is said to be embracing motherhood at the moment, she has spoken in the past about how terrified she was of parenthood as a young woman.
"I didn't even have sex until I was 20. My mum was a teenage mum, I was deathly afraid of being a teenage mum,” she told HuffPost Live.
The stunning brunette split from Oscar-winning British director Danny Boyle in 2013 after dating for a few months.
