Two years on the wife of the only South African on the ill-fated flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris finds peace and acceptance

At their comfortable home in Somerset West in Cape Town three young sisters chase each other around excitedly. But their yearning for the man who was their hero is unmistakable.

He was Erich Heine (41), the only South African on the ill-fated Air France flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris two years ago who was killed along with 227 other people when the plane crashed into the sea.

The remains of 75 victims were recently found and DNA tests are being conducted to determine if Erich is one of them.
