Saying their vows

accreditation

In front of a global audience, Kate Middleton andPrince William have said their wedding vows in Westminster Abby.

And just like Princess Diana and Prince Charles on their wedding day, Kate and William decided to omit the word obey from their wedding vows:

“I, William Arthur Philip Louis, take thee,Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, to be my lawful wedded Wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I plight thee my troth.”

“I, Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, take thee, William Arthur Philip Louis Windsor, to be my lawful wedded Husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, honour and keep, till death us do part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I give thee my troth.”
