Scarlett Johansson ‘a proud wife’

Scarlett Johansson reportedly acted like a “proud wife” at the Gotham Awards. The 30-year-old Lucy actress is rumoured to have tied the knot with French advertising agency owner Romain Dauriac in secret last October. And it’s claimed she gushed about being a newlywed while in attendance at the 2014 Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City on Monday.

'They] both wore their rings and were very lovey-dovey, kissing and acting very much in love'

“She definitely seemed like a very proud wife!” a source told E! News.

Although Scarlett walked the event’s red carpet alone, apparently her new husband was nearby the entire time.

It’s claimed when cameras weren’t pointing in their direction, the lovebirds appeared enamoured with one another.

“[They] both wore their rings and were very lovey-dovey, kissing and acting very much in love," the insider detailed. "She kept calling him 'my husband.'"

Scarlett declined to be interviewed by press at the Gotham Awards.

She is known to be tight-lipped about her personal life and previously told reporters she wasn’t in any rush to get married.

“I’m very happy. Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and really savour,” she told People magazine earlier this year.

Scarlett and Romain began dating in 2012 and became engaged in August 2013. The stunning blonde welcomed their daughter Rose into the world in early September.

Scarlett was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds but the pair divorced in 2011 after less than three years.

The actress will next appear as Black Widow in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
