Seagull steals false teeth

accreditation

A seagull stole a woman's false teeth.

Renee A'Bear (92) had been feeding the gulls outside her care home as she enjoyed a cup of coffee, but as she popped her fake gnashers out to nibble on a biscuit, a hungry bird swooped down and pinched them.

Staff at Eridge House Residential Home in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, later found the item ? which is worth hundreds of pounds ? on the roof.

Eridge House boss Linda Stevens is quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying, "All of us, including Renee, have seen the funny side.

"But she's going to be a bit more circumspect in future as to which birds she feeds."
