A US UFO researcher claims to have footage of an alien taken after it was autopsied in 1947, the UK's Mirror reports.
Tom Carey claims the video, supposedly shot in the same year as the notorious New Mexico Roswell crash, was given to him by an American intelligence agent.
Carey says the footage has been verified by Kodak historians to have been shot in 1947.
"We took it to the official historian of Kodak up in Rochester, New York, and he did his due diligence on it, and he said yes, this filmstrip, the slides are from 1947."
"And from the emulsions on the image, it’s not something that’s been Photoshopped like today."
Real or not, the disturbing footage seemingly shows an extraterrestrial being examined by scientists.
"The head has been severed, and there’s been a partial autopsy," Carey explains. "The innards have been removed, and we believe the cadaver has been embalmed, at least at the time this picture was taken."
