The teenage schoolgirl who died in Mauritius may have been killed by her stepmother, according to reports.
According to French newspaper L'Express, Mundolene Vosloo collapsed on Wednesday at a hotel on the island. She was soon pronounced dead by a local doctor, reportedly from internal bleeding.
Although the exact circumstances surrounding her death have not been confirmed, the Mauritian claims Mundolene and her stepmother, Marietjie Vosloo, had a fight at the pool at the four-star hotel that afternoon.

Marietjie reportedly struck her stepdaughter, and Mundolene fell to the ground, hitting her head.
A Mauritian police spokesman confirmed to YOU Marietjie had since been arrested on a charge of manslaughter.
Yesterday Mundolene's aunt Yolande Smuts told YOU the Hoërskool Hugenote learner's family at home were still in the dark about what happened. "We have not a clue what's going on! It's terrible not to know," she said.
Mundolene had reportedly arrived at the Riu Hotel in Le Morne with her stepmother, father and brothers on Tuesday.
Her mother and stepfather are believed to have travelled to the country yesterday.
Mundolene's boyfriend from Johannesburg, Tyron Bothma, also confirmed her death to YOU, but declined to give further details.
Antonet Niettie Muller shared a post in Afrikaans on Facebook titled "Message to Mundolene's family".
“Hello everyone‚ thank you for all your prayers in our time of mourning," it read.
“I just want to say that I am shattered‚ my world has been torn apart. I haven’t slept and I cannot stop crying. I cannot believe my beautiful child was taken away from me yesterday. I miss her terribly. I just wanted a once in a lifetime holiday for my children. They were so excited and look at how it turned out.”
The message, seemingly written by a close family member, confirmed Mundolene and her stepmother had fought, and Marietjie had hit her.
According to the message, Marietjie spent three nights behind bars.
