Snooki’s weight loss secrets


The 26-year-old star gave birth to daughter Giovanna, her second child with fiancé Jionni LaValle, a month ago.

And despite being a new mother once again, Snooki has already regained her pre-pregnancy figure.

But while Snooki is a regular gym bunny, she insists that following a healthy eating regime is the main way she has shed the pounds.

“It is basically all diet!” she told Access Hollywood. “You have to eat well and you know try to do some cardio and breast feeding helps. It is 300 calories every time you pump. I would say losing weight is 80% diet and 20% working out.

“I am eating lots of greens, a lot of grilled chicken, salad and some fruits. You just want to eat well and also make sure you're eating healthy for you baby because my baby is taking my milk."

During her second pregnancy, Snooki made a concerted effort to continue with her exercise regime right up until the last minute.

And she says the thought of her upcoming wedding to Jionni has been the best motivation for her to stick to her diet and gym plan.

“This pregnancy was definitely different from the last one because it took me six months to get my body back and even in better shape with Lorenzo. But this pregnancy, I made such an effort to work out a lot. I was running three miles a day up to like seven months.

"I was getting married two months after I had the baby. So, you know, I didn't really have time to get my body back."
