The Shake It Off singer dated One Direction crooner Harry for a few months before they split early last year. And she recalls being overwhelmed when their break-up dominated headlines while she was making huge strides with her music. "It broke my heart!" she told US Weekly. “I was selling out stadiums and it was all people talked about."

Taylor, (24) is currently promoting her latest album, 1989. The record has already sold nearly 1.3 million copies and topped Billboard charts for weeks, according to the outlet.
And the singer’s pleased people are finally paying attention to her talent rather than who she is or isn’t dating.
"Now people talk less about the things that don't matter," she said.
That doesn’t mean she’s given up on writing about love and heartache.
Her new song, How You Get the Girl, is written with lazy men in mind.
"It's written for a guy who has broken up with his girlfriend, then wants her back after six months," she explained. "But it's not going to be as simple as sending a text like, 'Sup? Miss you.'
"That won't work," she insisted. "You need to do all the things I say."
