The 24-year-old songstress dated the 20-year-old One Direction star between October 2012 and January 2013, and they’ve notoriously written songs about each other. Now rumours are surfacing that she wants to get back together, but he doesn’t want the same. The Shake It Off hitmaker is apparently afraid she’ll “get her heart broken all over again” by her ex, according to a source for website HollywoodLife.com. But it’s thought any hopes by Taylor for a successful part two of a relationship with Harry would be in vain. Apparently, she’d just be heading for another painful breakup.
‘This is going to be hard for her’
“If Harry is just trying to be friends and he has no plan to actually date her again, this is going to be hard for her,” according to the insider. “She’s going to get her heart broken all over again. She’s just so sensitive and she does still like him a lot.”
Harry, on the other hand, is thought to be completely uninterested in a reunion with Taylor. Although he enjoys her friendship, he reportedly isn’t keen to take things any further.
“There’s not a chance in hell that Harry will date Taylor again,” the source went on. “He’s a nice guy and wants to be friendly. He holds no grudges, but he doesn’t want to be in a relationship with Taylor again. It didn’t work out and wouldn’t work out if they tried it again. He knows that it would be a disaster.”
Love life aside, Taylor’s career is beyond successful. She has just made history by becoming the first woman to replace herself at the top of the music charts, with her song Blank Space taking over Shake It Off.
