Taylor Swift's army of A-list fans

Taylor Swift's new songs have got Lorde "chair-dancing". The 24-year-old musician released her latest album 1989 yesterday and fans have been racing to download it on iTunes. Among them are her celebrity pals, who include 17-year-old singer Lorde. "OMG 1989 IS OUT WHAT A DAY. so proud of my sista. my favourite is style (and also blank space) (and also all of them)" she excitedly tweeted.

  Lena Dunham is also close to Taylor, and the Girls star's boyfriend Jack Antonoff worked on 1989 track Out of the Woods. It's no wonder the love song made it onto Lena's list of favourites. "Hope you enjoy October 27th or, as it shall now be called, national Taylor Swift day #TS1989," she wrote on Twitter.

fun. bandmember Jack also took to Instagram, posting a snap of himself with Taylor and gushing he "truly loved" working on the record.

Ed Sheeran also chimed in on social media, encouraging fans to download the "stellar" album.

  Also in Taylor's army of close girlfriends are Modern Family star Sarah Hyland and model Karlie Kloss. "Cuz you know I love the players/ and you love the game"- @taylorswift13. I love this woman. (sic)," Sarah tweeted.

On Instragram, Karlie posted: "The wait is OVER!.....#TS1989 IS (almost) FINALLYYYYY HERE!!!!!!......tonight at MIDNIGHT you can download @taylorswift's full album on iTunes!!!! Woooohoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sic)"
