Justin Bieber is being sued for allegedly kicking a photographer in the stomach last year.
The As Long As You Love Me hitmaker has been accused of assaulting paparazzo Jose Osmin Hernandez in Los Angeles while on a date with former girlfriend Selena Gomez, whom he split from earlier this year after two years of dating.
According to court documents obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, Jose claims Justin (19) got frustrated with him and several other photographers for taking pictures of the then couple at The Commons retail complex in Calabasas, California, as he was trying to manoeuvre his Mercedes out of a parking space.
He claims the Canadian star then jumped out of the car and "delivered a martial arts-type kick . . . in the lower rib cage on the left side of his abdomen".
According to the lawsuit, Jose claims Justin then used his left fist to punch him on the right side of his face and pushed him against a parked car.
The alleged victim also said Selena (20) returned to the scene a few minutes later to search for her phone, and apologised to him for Justin's behaviour.
Jose has not stated how much compensation he’s seeking in the lawsuit.
