The new Formula One season is here


It’s a mind-blowingly fast sport in which cars hurtle around the track at death-defying speeds – and things change equally fast in the high-octane world of Formula One. 

New regulations and a few tweaks to the cars will ensure thrilling viewing and an unpredictable outcome in this year’s contest.

Last year Red Bull driver and world champion Sebastian Vettel outraced rivals to secure one of the most clear-cut title wins ever – but when the 2012 season kicks off in Australia on 18 March the 24-year-old German will have to watch his back from the moment the race starts.
