The Scotts welcome baby no 2

accreditation

Baby Matthew was born via a planned Caesarean section and Darren happily reported that both mom and baby are doing well.

He took to Twitter soon after baby was born, posting an image of a wrinkled little cutie pie, saying, “Matthew Scott born 11.13am! Judging by expression ? a Man United supporter. Will work on that. Healthy & blessed!.” An avid Arsenal supporter, Mark later tweeted, “Matthew's first sounds def sounded like ‘Özil’. Clever little oke ? even pronounced it with the umlauts. That Man United scare is over.” He was of course referring to newly transferred Arsenal soccer star Mesut Özil.

Darren’s oldest son, two-and-half-year-old Mark battled kidney cancer for a year before he was given the thumbs up from doctors earlier this year and is now cancer-free.

The family are ecstatic over the new bundle of joy. “We’re all very happy and Sarah has been resting and recovering. Matthew has been sleeping all day and only been awake for, like, an hour of his life so far,” Darren told us.

The couple will head home with the new baby on Saturday.

Best wishes to you both!
