There are some major changes coming to Twitter

accreditation

Twitter lovers, rejoice! Regular users of Twitter know how frustrating it is to be limited by the 140 character count. A while ago, the social media platform promised to resolve the issue. And it's finally happening.

As from Monday, photo’s, videos, memes and GIF’s no longer form part of your 140 character count. Yes, you can now use every single character for your tweet!
Another change which has been made, which was also previously promised, is that Twitter handles also no longer take up precious character count. Naturally, the internet went crazy for Twitter’s latest developments.
