Nine-year-old Joshua Thorburn is obsessed with all things dinosaur and wants to be a palaeontologist when he grows up – so when he found out he had won a trip to Washington DC in the US to go to the Smithsonian Natural History museum and Air and Space Museum, he was over the moon.
"It's dinosaur everything in our house," says his mom Dee-Ann, a personal assistant from Paarl, "He has every dinosaur fact book he can lay his hands on!" Perhaps he'll be able to give the tour guides at the museum a run for their money!
Dee-Ann also can't wait for the seven-day getaway. "I'm a single mom, so we don't even go on holidays in South Africa," she told YOU excitedly. "It will also be Joshua's first time on a plane, so it's another dream come true for him."
